As Hallie would say. Whenever I tell her we're going to the park, she always yells "YAY park!" So Saturday my parents stake had a big stake party at Central Park for families. They had a HUGE blow up slide, jumping house, hot dogs, cotton candy, games, and were right next to the swings and slides and what not. Hallie had SO much fun. She had her aunts Mary and Elizabeth and my cousing Marissa to take her around doing all the fun things there was to do and eating all the cotton candy her little tummy could handle. So here are some pics from our fun saturday. BTW- I finally went and got Hallie's big girl potty for her today, we got home, opened it up, she sat on it, and WENT! I'm amazed.

Big Girl
1. You love to cozy with me.
2. When ever I try to send you to time out you hold your finger up to your mouth and tell me to shhh. Or tell me "Mommy, be nice!"
3. Watching you push the button to listen to the messages on the answering machine so you can hear daddy sing you itsy bitsy spider.
4. Your dolly that you love so much it has gone bald.
5. How your favorite place to watch your movies is in my bed, laying on my pillow, with your dolly, blankie, water, and binki.
6. How reverse psychology only worked on you for a few days before you figured it out.
7. How you inform me when you are going poop in your diaper.
8. The way you come up to me 20 times a day and say "Hi mommy!" as if you haven't seen me for days and wrap your arms around my neck.
9.How you always tell me "bless you" whenever I sneeze.
10. Your obsession with hair.
11.Your tan lines.
12. Whenever I try to help you with ANYTHING you tell me "Hallie do it."
13. Anytime we go to anyones house you eat them out of house and home...even though I feed you PLENTY at home.
14. Hearing you sing the ABC's to yourself always puts a smile on my face.
15. The way you always know who's shoes belong to who and what cell phone belongs to what person.
16. How I have never felt so much love for and from one person.

Hubsy Wubsy
So here are a few pics from a week and a half ago when I flew out to Alabama to see Matt for the weekend. I was SOOO good to finally get to see him after seven long weeks, even if it was only for like 30 hours. We went out to eat for every meal and got to cozy and talk face to face and do all kinds of fun things. :) I missed Hallie like crazy and felt guilty the whole time was gone that she would think that her mom had abandoned her. I didn't feel guilty enough though to cancel my Las Vegas trip with Lara and Rebecca for mothers day. So Alabama last weekend...and Las Vegas this past weekend. We stayed at the Rio in a really nice suite and ordered a lot of room service, ate at yummy buffets, went to a cool exhibit, took naps, slept in, and Lara and Rebecca went and got prenatal massages at the spa (I don't like people touching me, so I opted for sleeping instead. Anyways, fun weekends. I go out to see Matt again for memorial day weekend (a week and a half) and he'll be home two weeks after that , YAY!

$1.00 left of internet time
I'm at the Denver, CO airport and paid for 20 mins on the internet (five bucks) and have one dollar of time left. Well, not .75 cents. Anyways, I just got back from spending the weekend in Alabama with Matt (SOOOOOOOO nice to see him) and I have a three hour layover here. I miss Hallie so much and I can't wait to get home and see her. I had never been to the south before and it was a pretty crazy place. Crap, .44 cents. I'll write more when I get home.

The healing power of shopping.

So I had to go and be a human pin cushion today at my Doctor's request. It is that time of the pregnancy....time for the 1 hour glucose test. I'm actually a little late getting it done because of the switch of our insurance to military, so because I am officially covered as of today it was the resposible thing to do to get it taken care of right away. Nevermind the fact that a little over 50% of the time I pass out when I get my blood drawn, I had to do what was best for our baby. (I think his name should be Chase by the way, and Matt agrees). Then right after going four hours without food, drinking the nasty sugar drink, getting my blood drawn and NOT passing out (yay me) I had to go upstairs from the lab to my Dr's office and get my rogham shot because of my negative blood type. So all in all, the day up to that point had been pretty devastating. Becca was with me for it all in case I passed out and needed to be driven home. So we decided to turn the day around and first went to Carls Jr and I had their Philly Cheese Steak sandwich.... I can't even describe the philly goodness of that sandwich. Then, we went and picked up Lara and met up with Mary at Southcoast and did a little maternity/baby shopping. It was as if with each purchase, the hurt from the shot in my butt got a little more tolerable. Amazing. Finished off the day with some yummy apetizers at claim jumper with my sisters, picked up Hallie from Nana's house (had to drag her out the door because she loves Nana's house), came home and watched a little monsters inc, put crazy 20 month old to bed, watched American Idol on Tivo (the only way to watch TV these days), talked to my hubby who I'm missing like CRAZY and now here I am. So what could have potetially been a really crappy day turned into a really great one through the magic of retail and eating out. Here's a random pic of Hallie from last week so as not to make this post visually unstimulating.
