This is the life....
So Matt's company is having some big National Conference thingy in LA all weekend at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and the company was kind enough to get us a room in the Hotel all weekend. Matt got here yesterday (wednesday) and I just got up here this afternoon. Nana was kind enough to Hallie until Sunday when we will be coming home from our free vacation. Matt is actually working for most of the conference doing all the IT stuff, so I'm going to be taking a lot of baths, naps, and watching a lot of movies on the big plasma screen TV in the big, REALLY cozy, King size bed. Ahhh, this was a much needed little break. Since I've been pregers again I've been SOOOO tired and Hallie seems to be getting more and more energy every day and getting more and more defiant ever day. She does the total opposite of anything I say and has been spending a lot of time in time out. I think I was right on the verge of a break down...and now here I am. Just in time to save me from my break down. My only anxiety about being here? Well there is a fancy dinner on Saturday night where the guys are in tuxes and what not..so I had to go and get a nice dress. Problem..I'm four months pregnant and look like I have a fat gut. I still wear my same size clothes and don't fit into Maternity. I could try to hide the gut, which generally leads to a very unflattering dress. OR, I could embrace the gut and just wear a nice dress and let all those people who don't know me at the conference think I'm a fattie. I bought a dress, look like a fattie, and I'm just going to have to wear a sign around my neck saying "Please don't say bad things about my gut behind my back, I'm 4 months pregnant." And another sign on my back saying "please don't feed the pregnant woman" because I'm trying REALLY hard not to gain as much weight this time around and every day I'm getting hungrier and hungrier. I'm a rambling fool right now. I'm going to go take a nap. Bath first, then nap.

ELMO
It's all she cares about in life. I don't understand it. We really don't watch much sesame street. We've never encouraged her liking the little red monster in any way. She has one (one of her MANY) book that has elmo in it and she's OBSESSED. From the minute she wakes up in the morning "Elmo, elmo, elmo, elmo, elmo" until I turn on the Elmo DVD we got her for Christmas (she was WAY obsessed prior to christmas so we knew it was a video she would like) then she sits and could seriously watch it for hours. I could sing every song from the stupid show... I know exactly what Mr. Noodle or his brother are going to do wrong when Elmo asks one of them how to do something. I know that Elmo ALWAYS asks a baby after he asks the kids how to do something, and yet, the baby never answers. I know they have the same order to every show of first learning what we're going to talk about, then Dorothy has a question. The question first goes to Mr. Noodle, then the kids, then the baby. I could go on and on, but I'm boring myself. Just a random blog about Elmo and a picture of Hallie in her perfect little Elmo world. Love it.

Hallie's movie Debut....
This is just a little video I took of Hallie yesterday morning, I thought it was funny. In case you're wondering what she's saying at the beginning when she's giving her cheesy grin...whenever the camera comes out, she makes that face and says, "smile...smile...smile" because she knows thats what she's supposed to do. funny girl.

Happy New Years!

We just got back from a fun new year's day spent with my family. We all went and saw Charlottes Web and Hallie LOVED it. She loves animals so much right now, but I was still sceptical about bringing her to the theatre, last time I did it was a nightmare and I ended up out in the lobby with her the whole time. This time she was amazingly good! She jumped between Elizabeth's and Lara's laps a little bit, but she watched the whole movie and kept telling us all what animal was on the screen and what sound it makes, it was really funny. Last night we all played games and ate yummy finger foods at Mimi's house. My parents brought their new puppy Emma over (she is SOOO cute, identical to cocoa....it's actually kinda weird) and Hallie fell into her water dish. So she's wearing one of Owen's shirts for these pics. Hope everyone had a happy new year! We did...but it'll be nice to finally get our lives back to normal.
