A letter to a good friend.

Dear Diet Coke,
You have always been good to me, and I crave your burning goodness all the time. For this reason, I have to end things between us. Our relationship has moved from a healthy friendship to a sick addiction. I think you may even be holding me back from my weight loss goals. How could you do that to me? I thought you cared about me! I'm tired of being so dependent on you, and ready to be a strong, sober woman. Since I quit you (two days ago) I have been plagued with terrible headaches and cravings, simply confirming to me how bad we are for eachother. It's been a good ride, diet coke, but the road ends here for me. I wish you all the best.
Love,
Sara

Wow good for you!! I recently went off all soda for alice's tummy trouble, and now when I drink it I don't feel well. That's a sure sign I'm getting old. But it has definitely helped me lose pounds faster. Good luck!!

good job Sara! And yeah that stuff is DEF addictive and bad for you. I wish I could cut something like that out of my diet to lose weight easier. :P Except for like BREAD or something...which is a sin.

Good luck! I am in the same boat but with Pepsi. I saw an example of how much sugar is in a single can and heard Dr. Oz say that drinking a can of soda a day will increase your chances of diabetes by 80%. That scared me away.

You brave soul. I was off it with Carter (mostly cause I was sick) and am back on. Not sure why. Hmmm...good point. I can't be brave yet. I need them to sleep first. Then maybe I will give a go at it. =) By the way, do you guys have a webcam? Ella misses Hallie. =)

I hear this same statement of resolve every now and then from Sean about Diet DP. It's never really happened though....someday, right? Good luck!

that makes me so so sad that you are breaking up with diet coke... In a way it feels like you're breaking up with me. Ha. Love you.

this post seems a little familiar, didn't you have a similar new years resolution a year or two ago??
