Hello Friends.

We are back home safely and with very little trouble yesterday. I guess the prayers worked..... and the benadryl. Meds are to help kids feel better right? Well Hallie felt A LOT better sleeping on the plane rather than awake and causing trouble. We fit so so so much into the past two weeks. Lets see.... Lara and Steve sealed in the temple, had a baby, and blessed their baby all in the two weeks we were there. Brady and Jessica blessed their baby (I was sure we were at church 20 minutes early for that, turned out we were 10 minutes late and missed it...don't tell their baby Ella, she'll never know) then had a family gathering after the blessing. We hit up the pumpkin patch, trick or treating, disneyland twice, the rainforest cafe, lunch with friends, dinner with family, two birthday parties (one for my Dad, one for my cousin's little boy), finally got to meet Rebecca's baby Alex (sooo stinkin cute). Hair consisted of three highlights, one color, 8 hair cuts, two hair styles (I styled Lara's hair for her sealing and since she was induced with her labor I told her this was her lucky day because she could do her hair and makeup and look really good in all her birth pictures...so I styled her hair for her delivery too. Hit up the park, did A LOT of shopping, spent some time with Mimi. It was sooooo nice. But it's even better to be home again with Matt. We missed him so much and Hallie was so excited to see him again. We've had a nice peaceful day at home (Hallie woke up this morning sick, coughing and running nose.....I think she caught it from my dad) so we didn't make it church. I have really enjoyed relaxing today and just being with my little family. Oh yeah, and reading twilight. loving it. I'll put a whole bunch of pics tomorrow. For now, I have a lot of tivo to catch up on!

Ok, I have to say, I am so incredibly addicted to those books, absolutely loved them, I have read all 3, (and I read them in a week)! and now I think I just might have to start reading them again ... although I think my Dad is right, I should wait until the semester is over because I just can't put them down!!! I am glad you guys made it home safe and had a good time, and I am glad you are enjoying my FAVORITE BOOKS!! take care and I hope to see you soon!

Sara--sounds like a great trip!! I am going home in a little over a week, and I can hardly contain the excitement.

And, yeah, I wish my boyfriend was a vampire. Who doesn't??

i am all about benadryl on planes... except you also take the risk of having it backfire and make them super tired- as it did with us from LA to florida when Ethan was 18 months old- that was not a fun flight, for any of the passengers!

Sara, you cut hair?? When did I miss this section of your life? Man, I wish I had known that. I think I would have driven down while you were here just to see if you would have done mine too! I wanted a change, but who do you trust? I most definatly would trust you!!

Yea, for making it on a much better flight . . . I just stress thinking of flying with my kids. But, I would do it just like you if it meant time with my family.

I am glad you are enjoying the Twilight series. Just finished it, and well, the least I can say is that I loved them!

Off to save a 1 year from falling onto the tile floor again . . .AHHH! When will this phase end!?! Enjoy your tivoed shows!!
