After 4 hours of Labor and 8 minutes of pushing Chase came into our lives on 7/11/07 at 1:39 pm. He was induced 10 days early, weighed 8lbs 8ounces, and was 19 1/2 inches long. He's really peaceful, a REALLY good eater and we love love love him. Sadly enough, Hallie started running a fever the day he was born and has been ever since. So she hasn't seen him yet. I miss her and can't wait for Nana to give her the OK to come back home. I got home last night (the day after he was born) everything went so well and so fast that I just wanted to get out of there and back to my home. I was prepared for another Hallie-birth (horrible) and was VERY pleasantly surprised. This was easy in comparison. Chase and I are both doing really well and Matt has been such a big help. Here are some cute pics, I'll write more when it isn't quite so uncomfortable to sit at the desk. :)

he is so dang cute!!! and how funny but i bought the same outfit for our little guy... gap.com got to love it, im praying my birth experience is all that yours was this time. 4 hours? lucky. 8 min? even luckier. im glad you guys are well. chase=very cute name for a very cute boy. keep the pics coming. im going to have ours anyday now, so i'll keep you posted also. CONGRATS!

Precious boy! So glad we got t see him and snuggle him, even though it was just for a minute. Good luck with the upcoming newborn days...
