I'm so glad when Daddy comes home
I can't even explain how glad I am. He was supposed to get home sunday morning, but between his hotel and the airport in Florida there was a one hour time change he was unaware of. So he didn't get home until REALLY late sunday night. Poor guy had to sit in an airport for 13 hours waiting to come home. I was a little unsure about how Hallie would react to seeing Daddy after three months apart. I wish I had had a video camera for what happened. We pulled up at the curb and as we were pulling up Hallie could see Matt out the car window, pointed at him, and yelled "Daddy!" I reached back and unbuckled her and she climbed out of her car seat, Matt opened the car door, and she jumped out into his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck and laid her head on his shoulder. She wouldn't talk, or look at either of us, she just melted into her Daddy and seemed to be relishing in the moment. It made my eyes water up. She didn't want to get back into her car seat. So while we drove through the 2 mile per hour traffic at the airport, Matt just sat in the back seat and held her. Then convinced her to get back into her carseat and talked to her and played with her for the whole drive home. It was the perfect night. Since then Matt has been working at the recruiters office during the day and coming home at night. We went to Disneyland two nights ago and if he gets home in time, I think we are all going to the park today. The first thing Hallie says every morning when she wakes up this week is "I want my Daddy". She's so happy to have him back. I'M so happy to have him back. On another note, the Dr. scheualed my induction for two weeks from yesterday. That's July 11th. Hallelujah. Don't wanna be pregnant ANYMORE. I can't wait to get my body back to what it was and enjoy my two babies without having to be constantly uncomfortable. Life as we know it is about to change drastically.

BFF

Could these two cousins be any cuter? Owen and Hallie simply love eachother. When Owen went away to riverside for the weekend with my sister in law...Hallie asked for him all weekend. Hallie thinks she's his mother, and he thinks she needs to stop being so stubborn and just do what he's telling her to do. They are my favorite to watch. It also helps that between the two of them they make up a pair of the best looking cousins on the planet. :) On another note.. It looks like I get to be a wife again on SUNDAY!! YAY. I could go into the whole long explanation of how it's all going to work out, but you wouldn't understand it..because I barely understand it. All I know (if everything gets approved like we are hoping) he'll be here on sunday and Hallie will have her Daddy back and I will have my hubby back. And on yet another note, I would like to issue an apology, I read so many blogs of people who are deep thinkers and extremely eloquent in their wording....but that's just not me. I write about my everyday (however boring that may be) and I don't like to give too much thought to any one thing. :) Sorry if when you read my blog you feel like you are reading a travel log.... but that is exactly what this is. A travel log of my life. And if I get any deep feelings about any one topic, you may just hear from me about, but don't count on it. Sorry for the whole stream of conscieness thing.

Shout out to the Hottie
Just sitting here missing Matt and looking at old pictures and pictures he's sent me of him playing army man and I had to share with world what a hot hot husband I have. :) Really, how did I land such a good looking husband? I'll tell you how... lots of inmodest clothing in Hawaii. Hahaha. I love him so much and he keeps me so grounded. In every way. I don't know what I did to deserve him in my life, but I do know he is who is supposed to be in my life. I just lucked out that he also happens to be really, really, ridiculously good looking. I love Matt.

Fashion Island
Lara, Rebecca, Hallie and I all went to fashion Island on Monday and Hallie ended up having more fun than then the rest of us combined. They had a really big Koi pond with HUGE Koi in it that the kids could sit and feed and what not. The Koi would come right up and eat out of your hand. They had those fountains that the kids could run around on and water squirts up out of the ground, a carousel that Hallie got to ride, and all kinds of regular fountains that we could go see. It was really fun. And yes.....that would be a kid leash Hallie is wearing in a lot of the pictures. I'm one of THOSE moms. :) Matt was not happy when I told him I had gotten one for Hallie...but I informed him that as soon as he was 8 and 1/2 months pregnant and chasing a two year old (almost) who can run faster than he can....then he could pass judgement. :) Plus it's such a cute kid leash. As far as being pregnant goes..I'm over it. Definently getting to the hopeless point where it feels like I'm going to be pregnant forever. My Doctor told me that if I'm ready he's planning to take the baby 10 days early because of his size. When Hallie was born (two weeks early) my doctor informed me that if she had been any bigger she wouldn't have made it out with a normal delivery (if you consider forceps and all that scary stuff "normal"). Anyways..we're excited to have this baby and Hallie and I can't WAIT to see Matt again. We miss him so much.
